Due to the danger of fire and the liability involved, it has been determined the necessity of mandating the cleaning of every dryer vent in our community at this time. The dryer vent in every condo must be cleaned. The project will be executed Monday June 20, 2016 through Saturday July 30, 2016.
New England Duct Cleaning (NEDC) has been chosen as our vendor and our group rate discount t is $65. Condo owners will be required to pay for the service at the time of the cleaning by cash or personal check, no credit cards will be accepted. Rental unit owners will be subject to 6.35% CT sales tax.

2. NEDC will do the work over the dates 6/20 though 7/30. The special group rate will only be available during this time period. Appointments will be scheduled by NEDC on a first come, first served basis.
3. Cleaning hours will be from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturdays. It will take approximately 30 minutes per unit on average to complete the cleaning.
4. A safety inspection of the entire dryer vent system will be performed. Dryer vent will be cleaned from the back of the dryer to the exit point of the home. The dryer lint trap and internal pipe will be cleaned. Dryers/washers will be moved as necessary and will be returned to their original placement. NEDC will collect and dispose of all lint (building exit point and dryer), and will vacuum the floor should lint be visible. Please remember "In no event will any dog be permitted in any portion of the Common Elements unless carried or on a leash; no dogs will be curbed in any courtyard or close to any patio, except in street or special areas designated by the Executive Board. Any droppings in the Common Elements will be picked up and removed immediately to disposal facilities or other trash dispoal containers."
